Younger, Prettier, Faster, Cheaper!

Woman’s Day- January 15, 1991

Facial plastic surgeon Dr. William Binder was featured in Woman’s Day magazine, where he detailed his new FDA-approved treatment called submalar augmentation, or facial implants.

Because facial tissue and dental bones may shrink with age, Dr. William Binder of Los Angeles developed submalar augmentation, or facial implants. His FDA-approved technique consists of inserting silicone implants below the cheekbones to fill out the depressed middle third of the face and lift facial skin. Just the things for those who are unhappy with the too tight, mask-like results of a facelift, or not quite ready for one. The procedure costs about a fourth as much as a full-scale lift.
