His FDA-approved technique consists of inserting silicone implants below the cheekbones to fill out the depressed middle third of the face and lift facial skin. Just the things for those who are unhappy with the too tight, mask-like results of a facelift, or not quite ready for one. The procedure costs about a fourth as much as a full-scale lift.
